This project consisted of a new addition to the existing children's hospital in order to provide a larger ranger of medical services. Where the new addition joined the older building, we provided extensive renovation to the old structure. The very tight urban sight required a vertical solution. The project was required to break down the massive scale of the structure in relation to the street and context. We teamed with NBBJ of Columbus who was the primary architect. Payto Architects' responsibilities were engineering coordination, site clearing, utilities and renovation work.
