site plan

The North Point Office Complex is a 750,000 sf facility located near the lakefront in downtown Cleveland. The tower is tied together by two transparent atriums, these relief points cut diagonally throught the site as a continuation of the primary pedestrian and vehicular access points. In addition to providing providing sight lines and circulation through the site, the "sight easements" allow for more views from within the buildings, both a view out to the lake, or inward to the plaza and city-scape. The plaza is the intersection of the "sight easements" and the midpoint for pedestrian and vehicular access, the surrounding buildings shelter it from the strong lakefront winds. The open space of the plaza is a more intimate reference to the adjacent Willard Park, the space is equipped with benches, shade trees, lighting and other amenities to serve as a quiet oasis within the urban center. Commercial and Mixed-use program on the first two floors of the North Point Complex enhance the urban feel of the plaza.
